Overview

In addition to being able to host and curate documents from external sources, you can directly author documents from within the OpenSquiggly system itself. You are likely already familiar with this authoring paradigm if you have used other "wiki" software in the past.

Page Modes

When you navigate and read documents in OpenSquiggly, the page is by default in "View" mode.

Multi-Fragment Documents

One big difference that you may notice right away in OpenSquiggly vs. other similar types of software you may be familiar with is that the documents are multi-fragmented. That is, you edit the document in smaller individual pieces rather than editing the entirety of the document all at once.

Page Editing Workflow

To edit a page, click the "Edit Page" icon (the Pencil icon) in the right hand side of that page header.
